Hello, Honey.

Are you seeing what I'm seeing right now? Look at that ridiculously perfect little sun-kissed cherub nugget of gold munching away. Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks and smother him with hugs and kisses? I do. All the time. ALL. THE. TIME.

Say hello to my son, Henry, or as he says "Honey."

Last summer my husband and I took him to a local succulent fair.  It was absolutely beautiful. Everything was so homey and rich with greenery.

We thought it would be a good opportunity for a little family outing. Henry loves plants and the outdoors - it always has a calming effect on him. On all of us, really. We like to take advantage of those types of situations because Henry is usually a flipping tornado. We joke that he is a honey badger (if you've seen that one youtube video, you know what I'm talking about.) Walking into that green house though, you just have to smile being surrounded by so much life.

Henry was just soaking it all in, while I was fighting the urge to purchase everything in my path. I am somewhat in denial that I have a major shopping problem. Oh, and that I kill every plant that I own. Just yesterday I had to toss out all my dead succulents. Yes, the plants that are impossible to kill.

But who needs plants when you have these two. (I still want plants though.)

I hope we're able to go again this year. Maybe this time I will get to buy something and actually keep it alive. We'll see. At least I remember to water this little sprout.

How could you forget to though, just look at that smile. Borderline Damien at the end of the Omen, but still so flipping cute, am I right?
